2023 started off with me re-learning one of the more important managerial lessons. To speak less and listen more. I am a person who likes listening to its own voice. The problem is, people who don’t have trouble speaking, will rarely hear others. They may also appear a bit like a jerk. Especially if a phrase ‘it didn’t work in the past’ or a meaty rant is used.
An experienced engineer and manager. Worked in multiple industries in various sized enterprises. A strong believer that software is actually Peopleware. A software developer at heart, and also worked as a QA engineer, test manager, project manager, delivery manager and more.
